| Board | Description |

| Group Finding | This is the place for new Players to post while trying
to form a group. This is where you should try to coordinate the formation
of an adventuring group. There is no quick and easy answer on what
is the best approach to this, but it is suggested that everyone should
at least give the Information Board and the resources that can be found
there a good read-through. When you post here, it's advised to post
In-Character (IC). It means more to read about a certain PC, rather than
just a collection of numbers and data. And don’t forget to leave
contact information so people can get back in touch with you.
Things that do not belong here: Overflow from the Role-playing,
IC or Rumors Boards.

| DM Seeking Group | This is where newly active DMs should post when they
are ready to start adventuring. Sometimes a veteran DM will also
post here when they are looking to replenish their group’s ranks.
Most DMs that do post here are very explicit about the types of information
they want from the Players, and the format. Some prefer posting on
the thread, while others prefer an email. Either way, the more you post
here IC, the better your chances of catching that DM's eye.
Things that do not belong here: overflow from the Role-playing,
IC or Rumors Boards.

| Player (OOC) | This is where all Players and DMs of Thardferr can post
on just about anything. It can be used to ask questions you have
about Thardferr or your PC. It can also be used to start certain
topics of conversation that are related to RPGs in general. Sometimes
certain threads morph into an IC thread, and this is okay here. This
is a good place to ask questions, EXCEPT for things like "How do I find
a group/DM?" or "How do I start/play?" These types of questions should
be asked elsewhere (Group Finding Board).
Things that do not belong here: Overflow from the Role-playing
and IC Boards, looking for group/DM posts, etc.

| Roleplaying | This is the place for new Players to test-drive their
new PCs. It is an excellent place to get a feel for your PC before
you find an active Thardferr group. Just keep in mind that anything
that happens on this Board HAS NO CONNECTION to the official world of Thardferr.
For PCs to gain experience or items/equipment, or to interact with other
official PCs, there must be a registered Thardferr DM present.
This is also a place where new Players can spend their time while they wait for a group to join. Things that do not belong here: Very little. Abide by
any posted description of rules set for each thread.

| Player (IC) | This is the place where active Thardferr PCs can post
about things that are happening in their Sessions. This could be
things such as a campfire chat among themselves, or dialogue between PCs
as they make their way to the next location. Also this is a place
where DMs may wish to hold certain IC discussions, such as a thread by
the IMG discussing spell signatures or the discussions of another guild
for recruiting or guild topics.
Things that do not belong here: overflow from the Role-playing
Boards, off-topic OOC comments, looking for group posts, etc

| Rumors | This is where active Thardferr PCs can gain insight into
what is happening in Thardferr. All threads in this Board should
be IC. There are no hard and set rules about what can and can’t be posted
here. Use your better judgment, but as a rule, Players should only
post as their PC or members of the general populace. Prominent members
of society, powerful NPCs and the like, should only be posted by DMs or
their designees.
Things that do not belong here: overflow from the Roleplaying
Boards or IC Boards, off-topic OOC comments and looking for group/DM posts,
etc.

| The Hall of the Dead | In memory of lost heroes, this holy place has been created,
feel free to talk about your dead friends with others. This is reserved
for all those PCs that have died while in an active Thardferr group that
was run by a registered Thardferr DM. It should be a semi-serious
place to memorialize the passing of a Thardferr PC. As far as settings
go, they vary from large public memorials to nameless graves dug in the
damp earth. Either way, they should be semi-IC and respectful (unless
you have a good IC reason to be otherwise).

| Trip Tickets | This is where you can find DM contact information, their
description and game session reports.
This IS NOT the place to post to contact a DM or to join his group. This is where active DMs (or their designees) post about the occurrences of their game sessions. These are called Trip Tickets, and are used to keep a written record of what is happening across Thardferr. This is also a good place to read about other groups to get a flavor for what they are doing and accomplishing and find out what is happening in Thardferr. Things that do not belong here: overflow from the Role-playing,
Rumors, IC, and OOC Boards. No posting by any Players EXCEPT for those
authorized by a registered DMs should ever be placed here. If you are looking
for a DM, please use the Group Finding of DM Seeking Group Boards.

| Famous NPCs | This lists all of the prominent NPCs of Thardferr. These
should only be posted by DMs or their designees. Updates to the status
of said NPCs should only be done by DMs or their designees. This is a good
place to read up on important people in Thardferr and can help players
to familiarize themselves with Thardferr and perhaps help to add to their
roleplaying experience with their characters.

Only Administrators have the ability to post information here. This is
a good place to read up on a lot of Thardferr information, both IC and
OOC, which can greatly help a Player to have a more enjoyable time in Thardferr.
